Pregnancy and labor are difficult, transformative processes for many people. We can help you work through the emotions that you’re experiencing while you adjust to this new way of life. We can also help teach you how to interact and communicate with your newborn.
Unlike a nanny or babysitter (whose focus is on the baby and their immediate physical needs), our primary focus as postpartum doulas is on helping parents gain the confidence, skills, and knowledge that they’ll need to feel good about their parenting abilities.
As postpartum doulas, we do not provide medical care, advice, or interpretation of symptoms, and must make appropriate referrals if your needs are beyond our Scope of Practice.
We work as a team to provide postpartum support, so you may end up working with one or all of us depending on your needs and our availability.
It’s never too early or too late in your pregnancy to lock us down for postpartum support! We would love to set up a time to talk with you about our package options and see if we’re a good fit for you.
If you know that you want help but don’t know when you’ll need it or how much help you will want, this is the option for you! A retainer of $125 is due at contract signing.
Postpartum services will be scheduled at your convenience in 4 to 8 hour shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours for overnight care from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am.
Subject to availability.
